No tier here is mapped to alliance-wide lounge access on this site: Aerolíneas Argentinas does not publish which Aerolíneas Plus tier carries SkyTeam Elite Plus — only that Platinum and Diamond members share SkyPriority with Elite Plus passengers — so there is no confirmed tier to score against.
Qualification is assessed automatically every month over the last 12 consecutive months, and each tier can be reached several ways: Gold 25,000 qualifying miles, or 30 segments, or 15,000 miles and 15 segments, or 10,000 miles and 10 segments and 18,000 card miles; Platinum 50,000, or 60 segments, or 30,000 and 30, or 20,000 and 20 and 24,000 card miles; Diamond 70,000, or 80 segments, or 40,000 miles and 40 segments — Diamond has NO card-miles route, unlike the two tiers below it. Only Aerolíneas Argentinas and SkyTeam flights count; flights on Aerolíneas' bilateral partners (GOL, LATAM) earn miles you can spend but never miles that count for status. Earning is now modelled from Aerolíneas' own tables (31 Aug 2026): the percentage is keyed on the FIRST LETTER OF THE FARE BASIS — usually, but not always, identical to the booking class this calculator asks for — across three route groups (domestic, regional South America plus Colombia, and international), plus a published table for each of the 17 SkyTeam partners. The 25/75/100% tier bonus for Gold/Platinum/Diamond is award miles only: Aerolíneas' own footnote excludes it from qualifying miles, so it never appears in a status figure here. SkyTeam mapping is INFERRED, not published: Aerolíneas states only that SkyPriority is given to 'SkyTeam Elite Plus, Aerolíneas Plus Diamante y Platino' passengers, which groups Platinum and Diamond with Elite Plus. Read the Spanish pages — the English version of that same sentence silently drops Diamond. The qualifying test is on the OPERATING carrier — an Aerolíneas flight number on someone else's metal does not qualify. Two further details from a 31 August 2026 research read, pending re-verification at the next capture: once a tier is held the assessment window anchors to that tier's expiry date, with a published mid-year downgrade if the bar is missed; and Aerolíneas-numbered codeshares in the EL AL (AR7850–7851, AR7870–7877) and Avianca (AR8900–8999) ranges earn miles but do not count toward status.
