1. Who we are

2. What data we collect and why
2a. Calculator inputs
When you use the calculator you enter IATA airport codes, airline codes, and booking class information. This data is sent to our server solely to compute Tier Point estimates and is not stored, logged, or linked to any individual. It is processed transiently and discarded once the response is returned.
2b. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, session duration, general geographic region, browser type). GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or any data that directly identifies you. GA4 data is aggregated and pseudonymous.
Data collected by GA4 is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google operates under standard contractual clauses as a lawful transfer mechanism under UK GDPR.
Legal basis: Consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You will be asked for consent via our cookie banner when you first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your browser cookie settings or using our cookie preference controls.

No cookies are set until you accept our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies (session continuity) require no consent.
2d. Server and infrastructure logs
Our hosting infrastructure may retain standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested) for security and operational purposes for up to 30 days. These are not used for profiling or marketing.
3. How we use your data
- To return Tier Point calculation results to you.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the service.
- To maintain security and diagnose technical issues.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data retention
Calculator input data is not retained. GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months within Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
5. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data where we have no lawful reason to retain it.
- Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
