Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Miles&Smiles publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure; a dash means no separate retention threshold has been captured for that rung, not that renewal is automatic.
Qualification runs on Status Miles earned in the preceding 12 months, and Turkish checks the total DAILY — a status upgrade applies as soon as the condition is met, and the rolling window means the total can fall as well as rise from one day to the next. Status is then valid for 2 years. Renewal thresholds are lower than initial qualification and are measured over two periods: Classic Plus 17,000 Status Miles (or 30 flights) in the first year or 35,000 (or 60 flights) across the two-year membership; Elite Plus 40,000 or 60,000. ELITE CARRIES A RESIDENCY SPLIT and it is the only rung that does: members living abroad — which includes UK members — renew Elite on 25,000 Status Miles in the first year or 37,500 across the two years, while members living in Türkiye need 30,000 or 45,000. Partner earning is modelled from Turkish's own 32 partner charts, and the charts' percentage is confirmed to drive Status Miles as well as award Miles: the terms state that miles earned with partner airlines are included in the tier calculation and are then listed separately as Status Miles on statements, with only purchased and promotional Bonus Miles excluded. There is no partner-side conversion. THE ONE ELITE EARNING UPLIFT Turkish publishes is on INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS on its own metal, and it is now modelled: Classic Plus, Elite and Elite Plus cardholders earn 175% with a 1,750-mile minimum in C and D (against Classic's 150% / 1,500) and 160% with a 1,600 minimum in K, J and Z (against 135% / 1,350) — confirmed by Turkish's own worked example, which names the output as Status Miles (Istanbul–Los Angeles, 6,855 miles, class K, 6,855 × 1.60 = 10,968). The tier rows are held on the member-tier axis but are DORMANT until a member-tier control exists in the UI, so the figures shown are at the Classic-card base; and the uplift is Turkish-metal only — Miles&Smiles accrues on the operating carrier's chart, so it never applies to a partner sector however the ticket is numbered. Nothing else varies by tier: the domestic table is headed 'All Cards', and the international economy rates and minimums are identical on both card rows. Booking classes N and R are not published for Turkish's own metal — they appear in neither the accrual table nor any exclusion sentence — so they show an unknown rate rather than a zero.
