Keeping a tier is a different bar from reaching it. The last column is what Miles&Go publishes for a member who already holds the tier, over the same qualification window as the reaching figure; a dash means no separate retention threshold has been captured for that rung, not that renewal is automatic.

Achievement thresholds shown: Silver 30,000 / Gold 70,000 / Navigator 125,000 Status Miles (flight alternatives: Silver 25 TAP flights; Gold 50; Navigator 70). Navigator carries a further condition in both cases — ten of its flights must be flown on Plus, Executive or Top Executive fares, whether the miles route or the flight route is used, which TAP words as 'in both cases'. Maintenance is lower on miles but not always on flights — Silver 20,000 or 15 flights; Gold 50,000 or 40 flights; Navigator 100,000 or still 70 flights (the Silver figures read verbatim from flytap.com's own FAQ schema, capture U, 31 Aug 2026). Both Gold AND Navigator carry Star Alliance Gold — Gold is the entry point. The qualification window is anniversary-based: your twelve months begin the month after you join, so there is no common reset date. 10% of renewal Status Miles carry over (max 10,000), and that carry-over is a Navigator benefit only. Bonus Miles convert to Status Miles at a constant 2:1 but under two different published caps, each with its own floor — 10,000 Bonus Miles convert to 5,000 Status Miles and 20,000 to 10,000 per earning period — so the ceiling depends on status, not the ratio (the floors reported from a 31 August 2026 research read of flytap.com; re-verify at next capture). TAP earns on the FARE BRAND, never the booking class: its own page says accrual varies depending on the TAP fare chosen, and publishes eight brand rows and no letter rows, so flights on TAP metal credited to Miles&Go show an unknown rate for a booking letter. No brand-to-letter map exists, and cannot: the brands are nested rather than disjoint, so one letter (V, say) can be Plus, Classic, Basic or Discount and earn 100%, 100%, 50% or nothing. Codeshares sold as TAP but flown by a partner are treated as a Basic fare (40% Europe/North Africa, 50% intercontinental). Partner flying is now modelled from TAP's own 24 Star Alliance charts, which ARE booking-class keyed even though TAP's own metal is not. Two limits worth knowing: Miles&Go splits its currency, and only Status Miles count for tier — they are earned on TAP and Star Alliance member flights only, so TAP's bilateral partners (Azul, Emirates, Etihad, GOL, SATA Azores, and SAS since its partnership resumed on 9 July 2025) earn Bonus Miles alone however generous their published percentage looks — SAS is already scored at zero here; and the tier bonus (Silver +25%, Gold and Navigator +50% of miles flown, on TAP metal only) is held but not yet selectable, so figures here are at the base tier.
