Requirements beyond the threshold
- Bronze — At least 15,000 Premium Points on ANA Group flights.
- Platinum — At least 25,000 Premium Points on ANA Group flights.
- Diamond — At least 50,000 Premium Points on ANA Group flights.
These apply in addition to the Premium Points figure, so reaching the number alone does not confer the tier.
50% of Premium Points must be earned on ANA Group-operated flights (Bronze 15,000 of 30,000, Platinum 25,000 of 50,000, Diamond 50,000 of 100,000; ANA Gold Card / ANA Card Premium holders are exempt at Bronze only). ANA publishes those floors in English on its /en/gb/ edition — the difference from the pages that omit them is the market edition, not the language. The service year is two windows, not one: Premium Points run 1 January – 31 December, do not carry over, and decide the FOLLOWING year's status, which itself runs 1 April – 31 March; hitting a threshold before the end of December grants the status immediately through to that 31 March (Advance Service). A second route to every tier exists for holders of an ANA Card ISSUED IN JAPAN — Platinum, for example, at 30,000 ANA-Group-operated Premium Points plus 7 or more Life Solution Services plus JPY 4,000,000 of ANA Card / ANA Pay spend — and is not modelled here. NH-coded flights operated by ANA's seven domestic codeshare affiliates (IBEX, AIRDO, Solaseed Air, StarFlyer, Oriental Air Bridge, Japan Air Commuter, Amakusa Airlines) are deemed ANA Group-operated and earn Premium Points, counting toward that floor — the affiliates earn nothing under their own flight numbers; the English page's contrary reading was a translation artefact, settled from the Japanese original. Crediting a flight to a partner programme forfeits its Premium Points. Super Flyers Card (annual-fee credit card) preserves Platinum status indefinitely once first achieved, and requires the holder to reside in Japan or hold a Japanese address. Premium Points are a three-part calculation: sector distance × the booking-class accrual rate × a route ratio (×2 Japan domestic, ×1.5 ANA-operated Japan↔Asia/Oceania, ×1 everything else including ALL Star Alliance partner flights), plus flat Boarding Points per sector. Boarding Points key differently by metal: on ANA metal they follow the cabin (400 for First, Business, Premium Economy and Y/B/M; zero for the nine discount-economy letters), while on partner metal ANA pays 400 to any class accruing 100% or more and nothing below. Known limits: ANA dates its accrual table 'current as of December 2018' and scopes it to flights departing Japan; and T earns no Boarding Points internationally while ANA's domestic list omits it entirely, so T on a domestic sector of an international ticket is not certain. ANA's stated distance basis is IATA Ticketed Point Mileage; this calculator approximates it with great-circle distance. Verified at ana.co.jp, Aug 2026.
Reaching this status
ANA Mileage Club publishes conditions that sit alongside the Premium Points threshold, so reaching the number on its own does not confer the tier. They are shown here and never scored — the Lark Score measures Premium Points earned and nothing else. Where the published wording says more than the summary line, the wording governs.
Own-flight minimum
- At least 50% of your Premium Points within 12 months on flights marketed and operated by All Nippon Airways.
Applies both when qualifying and when keeping a tier.
Published wording and our capture notes
Flight-only status route: half of each tier's annual Premium Points must come from ANA Group-operated flights — Bronze 30,000 PP of which 15,000 own-metal, Platinum 50,000/25,000, Diamond 100,000/50,000 (Japanese page, 「うちANAグループ運航便ご利用分」). NH-coded flights operated by the seven domestic codeshare affiliates (IBEX, AIRDO, Solaseed Air, StarFlyer, Oriental Air Bridge, Japan Air Commuter, Amakusa Airlines) count as ANA Group-operated. ANA Gold Card / ANA Card Premium holders are exempt at Bronze only.Source for Own-flight minimum (opens in a new tab) · Checked 31 August 2026
